Fridays at 6:30 AM
Every Friday morning is a challenge on the Williamsburg Bridge. Some weeks we bust our butts to run up and down the Manhattan-side incline for thirty minutes. Other weeks we do short, timed sprint intervals. Sometimes we set up workout stations and run from exercise to exercise. The results are unmistakable.
Hill running is, hands down, the best way to improve overall conditioning, speed, and mental toughness. Start with with 1 repeat and then challenge yourself to do more. You will be be encouraged the entire time by other Risers who want to see you succeed.
